Brigitte AMARGER France Installation

Description / Concept

My reflexion turned to transmission codes and their evolution through time, writing, language, memory, and semiology of communication in its cultural and social dimension.

This work questions about what our future will be made of and how we will find our place in this network/networld

Thanks to a structure, made on an identical basis, and the same black and white graphic, QR Codes are recognizable by everybody and the installation shows three figures standing in front of screens, witnesses of our intrusive contemporary society of conventional signs in perpetual evolution and standing in a quiet exchange.

Multiplication of information penetrates skin and mind, showing kind of tattoos, more dangerous new scars, in mutation.

The use of transparent X-rays and reflective fabric takes part of the concept with the constant to and fro between the figure and the squares.
