New York City, 2004.
Black & white, silver gelatin 35mm photo.
A man and a woman cross their path in front of the LOVE statue of Robert Indiana in NYC.
Captured on the spot, without staging.
I recharged my camera and started a new film by shooting the iconic LOVE sculpture, not thinking about the surroundings.
Back in Montreal, once the film was developed, this instant of pure serendipity appeared.
The two did not notice each other and missed the chance to fall in love.
