This picture is dedicated to the theme of domestic violence against women and girls. The composition itself is located in a corner and arranged in such a way as to show the loneliness and silence of those who face this phenomenon.
The author presents us with the mirror of Venus as a representation of a woman who is being abused. The mirror itself is also read as a hammer-a tool for striking. Her face is the handle of a mirror, what is applied to it is not able to speak, only the outline of the eyes can be traced, the nose is smudged. The entire color composition is made in a combination of red and purple tones, as the color scheme of bruises and injuries from violence.
