Unfettered 2019

The starting point for this project was to consider how some women can manoeuvre society’s flawed patriarchal beliefs around gender roles. Thinking of my father, how his unconditional love allowed me freedom of expression and choices in life compared to a very sexist behavior towards my mother, led me to consider how a father may influence his daughter's future survival in a patriarchal system.
